2 UX projects nominated for awards
The 2022 UX Design Awards announced nominations and Standard Beagle has two projects honored.
Judges nominated Standard Beagle’s design work for Circlage’s surgical evaluation platform and MedNet’s clinical database platform from among 124 projects to compete in the global competition for user experience excellence.
These entries now move to the second round of judging.
How the awards work
The UX Design Awards jury received more than 400 submissions from 48 countries. You can see all nominees in an online exhibition on the UX Design Awards website. Online voting for the “Public Choice” Award 2022 is open until August 31, 2022.
Eighty-seven entries compete in the professional “Product” and “Concept” categories. There are 37 up-and-coming projects in the “New Talent” category.
Award nominees
The nominees include students and universities, start-ups, industrial companies, global corporations, and design agencies. Competing projects include B2B and B2C solutions, products, and services in the fields of telecommunications, information- and finance technology, healthcare, and aerospace.
The newcomer projects also focus on solutions in the healthcare sector, but nominees also include approaches in other fields, such as the agricultural and food industries.
Voting for Public Choice awards open
While the UX Design Awards’ expert jury will select the winners in each category, users worldwide can vote for the audience prize “UX Design Award | Public Choice.” Voting remains open until August 31, 2022 through the online exhibition.
The 2022 UX Design Award winners will be announced and honored in a virtual award ceremony, streamed live on September 1, 2022.
About the UX Design Awards
The UX Design Awards are the global competition for excellent experiences by International Design Center Berlin (IDZ). The list of former winners reads like a who is who of the industry.
The awards have three competition categories: “Product” and “Concept” for the professional sector and “New Talent” for young designers. A jury of renowned experts nominate outstanding projects to compete in the UX Design Awards and select the winners.
