How We Do UX Design

User experience design is more than just the visual branding. When we design a website, software or application, we focus on how humans interact with the product or service. We use design thinking methodology to understand, ideate, and then design an experience that best suits the customers’ needs and motivations. Then we design the look and feel and interactions that will improve or enhance the customer’s experience with the company.

We include UX research as part of our process, as well as prototyping and usability testing. UX design can also be combined with our iterative development services.

Our Design Process

Our user experience team uses the information discovered through research to ideate on solutions to your unique problem.

In one-week design sprints, we begin testing potential solutions using wireframes and mockups, create prototypes and perform usability tests on your users. We continue iterating until we know the problem is solved.

Skills & Experience

Our designers have a wide range of design skills. We like to think of our skills as a toolbox. We don’t necessarily use every tool for every job.

Instead, we choose the right design skills for the work at hand. Whether it’s designing a style guide for a new brand or annotating wireframes to ensure that our interaction decisions are communicated with the development team.

We’ve learned through experience that design is best when we collaborate closely with our clients. We also have learned the most successful designs are those that have been through at least one round of user testing — because it means we’re designing to the needs of users instead of our own personal preferences.
