On Going Remote

UPDATE: March 16, 2020 – All employees are required to work from home.

Important update to clients and partners regarding our response to COVID-19.

As the global health situation continues to evolve regarding COVID-19, I want to let you know the steps Standard Beagle is taking as an agency that may affect you.

At Standard Beagle, our highest concern is the safety and well-being of our team, our clients, and partners. Everyone is now forced to deal with a public health situation we’ve never encountered before. And the way we do work is shifting how we work. In-person meetings are now being questioned.

The good news is that Standard Beagle has been working remotely for some time and we have tools to work as a distributed team for many years. We’re already well equipped to work from anywhere. And we’re confident that we can continue to provide the quality you expect from us.

What We’re Doing

Starting today, March 12, 2020, all employees have been provided the option to work 100 percent remote. Employees who feel healthy and want to work from our office are still able to do so. All scheduled internal meetings have a Google Hangouts option.

Most client meetings have already been using Zoom video conferences. In-person meetings have been dramatically reduced and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. All other communications can be done over phone, email, or text message.

A skeleton staff will be operating out of our headquarters, but not on a consistent basis. We receive email notifications of phone messages left at the office. Please allow us 24-36 business hours to respond to phone messages. If you need to reach us more quickly, please email your account manager.

I love working with people, which is why we’re not taking the next step quite yet to require 100 percent remote. We want to do our part and not risk the health of the people we work with. Especially since it’s so easy to work online with little to no impact on quality or productivity. We love working with our clients and partners and hope it is safe to be together in-person again soon. Until then, public health takes priority.

Stay safe. We will continue to support you, your team, and your projects. As always, we are here if you have any questions or concerns.
